The faculty at SJI not only welcomed both my son and I into the SJI family with open loving arms, but they also gave my son the life-long gift of speech. His future is limitless and we have everyone at SJI to thank for that!

For my husband and I, St. Joseph’s was the difference our daughter needed to unlock her abilities and talents. This was the first place to tell us, “we are going to find out how she learns, and that is how we will teach her.”

We are always included in all SJI’s activities for their families even though we receive services off campus. We are invited to holiday parties, end of year activities, St. Louis Cardinals games, and more. All these activities allow us to be part of the St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf family and help our daughter learn to enjoy her surroundings. We are fortunate to be able to participate first hand in this family-centered and life changing program in St. Louis!
