Ongoing Support Whenever You Need It
St. Joseph Institute, Indianapolis continues to work with mainstreamed SJI students in first grade and beyond through partnerships with their parents and their local schools. Families and children may receive ongoing consultation, advocacy services and support from St. Joseph Institute, whenever they need it.
Our certified staff supports parents and local school districts by:
- Evaluating and observing students
- Providing consultation and professional training to schools
- Establishing an Individualized Education Plan
- Providing case conference input
- Offering other services as needed
In addition, our professionals have extensive expertise in cochlear implants and often provide direct therapy or tutoring services to school-age students, helping them use their implants to achieve the highest possible level of speech and language development.
