SJI-KC offers a theme-based summer school program every July that incorporates a variety of hands-on activities related to the regular school year program along with a daily half-hour of speech and language therapy. Its purpose is to provide our children with a consistent therapeutic and academic environment so they can continue to make progress in their speech, language, listening, cognitive, social and motor skills.
Open to children age three to 10 from throughout the Greater Kansas City area, summer term features a half-day, theme-based format (e.g. camping, fairy tales, oceans, etc.) and will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., July 10 – 26, 2012.
