Look at this cutie in our Audiology clinic! While we cooed and smiled, our Audiologist Dr Liz AuD, CCC-A explained about the benefits of his listening device.
“BAHAs (bone anchored hearing aids) are devices for children and adults with a conductive or mixed hearing loss. These losses can be caused by many things from chronic middle ear effusion to malformations of the outer ear and canal. Worn on a headband, the device provides excellent sound quality and improves the ability to locate sound. This is especially important for kids learning to listen to environmental sounds such as sirens, traffic and in noisy environments such as playgrounds, classrooms and parties.”
